Problem: We needed a system that will allow users to add multiple tags from a drop down list, the list should be searchable and users must be able to add new tags that does not exist in the list.

 

Soulution: A tag field that expands on user click, upon expansion, the field will allow user to multiselect tags and search the list, if the desired tag is not found, it can be suggested and then approved by a moderator to be added.

The number of tags to be selected can be limited, when the widget is collapsed, the selected tags are shown to provide a quick feedback.
